Understanding how your personal spirituality moves you to act in faith helps explain a larger part of your decision-making process and subsequent behavior.
This is true for any source of spiritual belief regardless if it is connected to an organized religion, philosophy, culture, symbolism, or your own unique perspective. What matters is that you understand what it is that you believe and that you are acting in a manner that is in line with that belief. If your spiritual beliefs and behavior do not line up, you will live in constant conflict with yourself.
Developing a strong foundation of faith is not about telling you what to believe or how. It is about developing a deeper understanding of your own beliefs, and how your behaviors align with and reflect those beliefs.
